Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 June 2026
These terms apply when you buy The 14-Day Site from Zylem ("we", "us", "our") through this website. Please read them before you pay — paying confirms you accept them.
1. Who we are
This website and the services on it are operated by Zylem.
Contact us at contact@zylem.io.
2. The service
The 14-Day Site — a one-page website: strategy, copy, design, build and launch, with your primary call-to-action (e.g. "Book now") wired to your existing booking system, two rounds of revisions, and a target turnaround of 14 days from when we have everything we need from you. We take on a limited number of builds at a time so that target stays realistic — it depends on us having your kick-off answers and any content you're providing promptly, and on timely feedback during revisions.
Bigger or multi-page sites are scoped and quoted individually; these terms apply to that work too unless we agree something different with you in writing.
3. Placing an order
You place an order by completing checkout on this site. The contract between us is formed when your payment is successfully processed by Stripe. You'll receive an automatic email confirming this and linking to the kick-off questionnaire.
Payment in full, or via Klarna/PayPal instalments, is offered through Stripe's checkout. If you choose Klarna or PayPal instalments, that's a credit agreement between you and Klarna or PayPal under their own terms — we receive payment in full from Stripe regardless of the plan you choose, and we're not the lender.
4. Price and payment
- The 14-Day Site is £895, payable in full at checkout (or via Klarna/PayPal instalments, see above).
- Valid discount codes are applied at checkout and shown before you pay.
5. Your right to cancel
As a consumer buying a service online, you normally have a 14-day "cooling-off" period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, starting the day after you pay.
However, this service is designed to start immediately — by paying and submitting the kick-off questionnaire, you're asking us to begin work straight away, before that 14-day period ends. That affects your cancellation right as follows:
- If you cancel before we've started work, you'll get a full refund.
- If you cancel after we've started but before the site is finished, you'll get a refund minus a reasonable amount for the work already carried out.
- If we finish the site and you sign it off within the 14-day period, at your request, your cancellation right ends once that work is complete — in the same way it would if you asked a tradesperson to start a job immediately and they finished it within that window.
To cancel, email contact@zylem.io. Outside of this statutory right, we're also happy to discuss a fair outcome if something's gone wrong on our side.
6. Revisions
The 14-Day Site includes two rounds of revisions on the build before launch. Further changes after launch can be quoted separately.
7. What we need from you
To hit the 14-day target, we need accurate information and timely responses — particularly your kick-off questionnaire answers, any content or photos you're supplying, and feedback during revisions. Delays on your side will push back the delivery date by the same amount. You confirm that anything you give us (text, photos, logos, etc.) is yours to use, or that you're licensed to use it — we're not responsible for content you supply.
8. Ownership
Once the site is launched and paid for in full, the code, content created for you, and the hosting/domain set up for the project are yours. We may keep and display the finished site in our own portfolio (for example, as a live example on this website) unless you ask us not to.
9. Acceptable use
This service is for lawful business use. We can decline or stop work on a project that's illegal, harmful, or that we otherwise reasonably decline to build.
10. Third-party services
Parts of this service rely on third parties under their own terms: Stripe (and, where chosen, Klarna or PayPal) for payment, GoHighLevel as our CRM and for email delivery, Netlify for hosting and file storage, and Google Fonts for typefaces. We're not responsible for outages or issues caused by these providers, though we'll always try to help you work around them.
11. Liability
We'll deliver the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits or business opportunities). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited or excluded.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here when you place your order. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we make material changes.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
14. Contact & complaints
Questions, complaints, or anything not covered here: contact@zylem.io. We'll always try to sort things out directly before anything more formal is needed.
These terms are drafted to accurately reflect how this specific service currently works (pricing, the 14-day cancellation interplay, etc.) rather than being generic boilerplate. They're a solid working starting point, not a substitute for a solicitor's review — especially the cancellation-rights wording in section 5, which is worth confirming against your actual checkout flow (e.g. whether you want an explicit "start immediately" acknowledgment checkbox there).
